Disaster...a HOLE!
So we were told our siding is made of a compressed compound similar to that of a cardboard box (where do people buy this stuff ??)
Anyhoo.....it seems to be crumbling, as a box does, with the changes in weather here in NY and we have developed a HOLE! As they were putting in our new windows we took a minute to review the damage. (when I buy more batteries for the camera...I'll post pictures of the beautiful new windows and tell the story of the redneck window incident.)

the Duke has arrived!
Duke came to us from Lollipop farm. His previous owners purchased him to live in an apartment that wasn't allowed to have dogs. This poor little boy, who is only three months old, was in a shelter with hundreds of big dogs. His previous name was Martini. Apparently Beasley felt this was an inappropriate name for a male dog, and quickly changed it to "DUKE"
Sophie seems to be adjusting well. We shall see, as Duke is so small Daddy Beasley seems to carry him everywhere and even put him in the BED! (oh NO!)

Bills Vs Jets
Sometimes it is quite difficult being a member of the National Guard. You have to attend professional football games, and wear nice yellow shirts. :)
Bills vs Jets.
They even made it on the evening news shots!

Columbus Day Parade
It was the first year Rochester, NY held a Columbus Day Parade. The kids truly enjoyed it. There was candy and fire trucks and horses. What more could one ask for ?
Unfortunately, the rain didn't want to hold off, and we got a bit soggy at the event.
